Hi sorry to break in but, I am totally new to camping. I am really stuck on how to fix the guy ropes on my rage tent to the ground. Do you know where there are any diagrams for me to view how to do it?
I know this sounds dumb I know its got to to be simple.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Are you saying it didn't come with any tent pegs to peg the guylines to the ground (at 45 degree angles) or the guylines are not attached to the tent?

Never be afraid to try something new, remember.... Amateurs built the 'Ark'... but Professionals built the 'Titanic' !!!
I was in Sainsbury's the other day and they had a 6 man tent at half price for £35. It had 2000hh so whilst not the best, it isn't the lowest either. I didn't buy one as I have enough tents but it did seem a lot of tent for the money. I camped with my sister on that very wet May BH and she has a Tesco's starter tent which stood up to the weather well. No leaks or breakages at all.
I have just purchased a Rage Altea 6 from Tentastic in Preston, on Ebay for £64.00, we wanted a tunnel tent, because my husband is 6ft 3, he hates when we go camping when he has to crouch at the ends, you end up with a bad neck. We are going to France next week to camp in Calvados, we are delighted with our new tent, its massive, we will use the other rooms for clothing etc and sleep in one room, i have a 10 yr old girl, she wont sleep in a tent without us, so it works well, there is loads of room to erect a kitchen and a table and chairs inside, a really bargain, if you buy, buy of tentastic on ebay, not through their shop, they are cheaper on ebay. Really easy to put up, no problems, loads of head height.
Hope this helps.

ps. they do a Rage Altea 5, which might be a bit smaller for you.
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Just to impress upon you, do your research here properly first, make full use of the search facility, search both "rage" and "tentastic" Then make your own decisions.
The minimum hydrostatic head recommendation for the UK is 1500. Personally I would only ever buy from well known manufacturers such as Vango and Outwell.
I have just spent this very wet weekend in my Rage Alta 4DX which I purchased from Tentastic a few weeks ago on e-bay. This is the second time it has been used (it was just used as the beer tent the first time) and I have been impressed by the quality.
There were NO leaks, breaks, rips or anything else to complain about. It's a great tent for the money. I would say it is better quality than my previous tent - a Royal tent which I bought 4 years ago and which is still going strong although one or two running repaits have been made over the years.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
I actually posted a question about these tents before weekend after reading all the bad press i read on here.We have just spent 3 very wet days up in the lakes on great langdale and the tent held up well.Ok,may not hold up on the top of everest, but for the odd weekend i can not see a problem with these tents??.The one we were using was the rage tromso 10 man..massive living area,3 sleeping pods so loads of room.It pretty much rained all weekend and we did not have one problem/leak.
The only thing i could see as a problem was the ground sheet not being attached..ie drafts. But a little common sense and this does not take much to solve.
Cant be all bad..we had few good comments from other campers, and also overheard a few from people passing.
Kept us dry, did'nt rip and fall to peices, good tent good weekend.
