It may help if you give an indication of what facilities you want on the site or nearby...i.e. childrens play area, dogs, shops, amusements etc.....I could recommend a local site to us, been able to get in there on a bank holiday with no problems, don't have a problem with unit size, pub in walking distance, great shower/toilet and washing up facilities, childrens play area, walk to beach, but need to drive to shops...I love it just wish it was further away because it's a perfect site for us but too close to home for a 2weeker!!..anyway have a look, not sure how long it would take you to get to this part of the world, we are about an hour from london..so maybe 2-3 hours for you? ps... we are in a flood free area!
I didn't want to be too proscriptive because I have seen it all too often when people get a bit demanding about what they want and don't want and end up narrowing their options right down!
We are four adults no kids and all we ask is a nice peaceful campsite, nice loo block, electric. Not bothered about shops being driving distance we are used to that. Pub in walking distance sounds good. I will definitely check this one out!
