So got my lovely new tent, thanks to all the great help on here but wondered how easy or not it was to use the front door as an awning for extra space during the day? I have awning poles, extra guy ropes etc and there are loops at the bottom of the door which suggests it should be possible but wondered if anyone has tried this?

Thanks!

It is possible - however the front guys do pull on the door if you use it like this.  Ok in dry weather but hopeless in wet weather as it just creates pooling - so no not much help really.

Thank you,  that's all I needed to know really as I was only planning to use it in dry weather. Fingers crossed it stays that way for my first trip!

Thanks again.
