All, Hoping the Hartford XL owners can offer a bit of advice about pitching the tent.

The main problem I have is the bedroom pods, I have pitched a number of times and we always find that the third pod that you peg out never allows you to peg it "tight" so that the pod itself is nicely "out" and therefore gives plenty of room within it.  We find that the first two pods peg out perfectly, but the third always is too "slack".  This is regardless of which pod we peg out first, second or third?

Maybe we are doing something wrong, so here's how we put the tent up:
Once all the poles have been slotted into their respective red and blue bits OH goes inside and lifts whilst I put the poles into their pins.
I then ensure the place where the poles meet (the 4 "corner" bits of the main tent) are pulled out enough so that the inner living area is completly stetched out and then peg down at these points.
I then, one by one, peg out the pods. (Always finding that the third pod never allows you to peg out so that it is nicely "taut")

After reading previous threads I have noticed that maybe we should zip up the main door and bedroom doors before pegging - we dont do that but will try that next time (could this be our problem??)

Any advice much appreciated!

I would say having the doors open will make a big difference. You should always peg out with the doors closed
