Hi All,

I'm new here but have been browsing the site for a afew weeks. Just wondered if u can help with a few questions ( some may sound stupid , but hey I'm new to camping ).

We bought an Outwell Georgia XL a few weeks ago and just got back from a week in Bala which was great , me my hubby and 3 kids.

so here goes :

1, are there any pitching instructions on line anywhere ? the ones on outwell dont have sound and we just cant master it ,

2, the groundsheet in the living area ? is it strong enough to take camping chairs , we just sat on the floor as I was scared of ripping it !

3, How do u get it all back in the bag ??? .

Thanks in advance and sorry if they seem like daft questions.

:-)

Mags

hi welcome to the most adictive website on the web.

I am not sure about pitching instructions but someone will be along to help I am sure.

I have an outwell montana 4 and i put my camping chairs on the ground sheet and they are fine. Like everything you neeed to be carful. I do put another ground sheet underneath the Sig I am sure this helps too.

Getting it back in the bag is practise but I am sure it can be done!! you will just have to go away again !!

we have always sat camping chairs on ours. if your worried, put picnic rugs down under chairs. Getting it back in bag takes practice, fold the tent to the general length of the bag then roll it up,squashing all the air out of it as you go. If need be,sit on it between rolling. We can get out hartford in bag using this method.

We get the kids to sit on our tent whilst folding it and then strap it up tight (extra compressions straps help - sometimes for the kids as well!)  We never bother trying to put the bag with poles and pegs back in the tent bag now - wouldn't have a hope of getting the bag shut if we did!

Hi,

We have the Georgia XL.

Have you seen the rough (very!!) guide on the inside of the bag?? That may help

We have no issues with chairs on the SIG as we have done this thus far. We do have a footprint groundsheet aswell.

We do manage to get it back in the bag, including the poles and footprint. You really do need to get the air out of the flysheet (sounds obvious I know) Use the bag as a size guide, by placing it against the end when you fold it, to make sure that it will go in.

Aside from that, siton it, roll on it, do the fandago on it
