CAN ANYONE ADVISE?

WE ARE A FAMILY OF TWO ADULTS AND 3 CHILDREN AGED( 4,8 10) BOYS.

GOING CAMPING TO FRANCE SOON AND NEED A GOOD TENT.

PITCH SIZE AT CAMPSITE IS 13 M X 8.5M .

I LOVE THE WILD COUNTRY HALO 104 BUT IT IS 7.4M X 7.3 .

I AM NOT SURE IF IT IS TOO BIG ALTHOUGH SHOULD FIT ON THE PITCH.

WOULD OTHER CAMPSITES HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS SIZE OF TENT?

ALSO LIKE THE HALO 73 BUT THINK THIS MAY BE TOO SMALL. HELP ANYONE?

We have the halo 43 and 73 (2006 models). Great tents. Whether its big enough for you all depends on your sleeping configuration. When we use ours, we sleep in the living area so that each child has a bedroom or they either fight, argue or giggle all night. The two bedrooms of the 73 take two single airbeds with some room for bags, the third bedroom only takes a single airbed and that's it. I have seen a 104 2007 model and the third bedroom is bigger than the other two, so would take 3 single airbeds.

As for pitch size, it seems that the 104 would fit. We don't have problems with our 73 and it often depends on the sites and the season as to how much space you have. We've not had a problem, even with our larger tent.

with the older Halo tents you have the option of zipping two togehter - this (and high weather tolerance!) is what made the range my top choice but being based in the north they seem rarer than rocking horse sh*t and I'm not keen on buying unseen!
