Hello Katyloo,

I noticed on the poll that you have a sunncamp Ventura, can you tell me if their is a condensation problem? How do you get on with the SIG?  There are lots of opinions about it, but no one that owns it.

Thanks

Hi,

inherited the Ventura from parents.

We love our Wynnster but its a bit big for the weekends.

Back to the Ventura, so far have not had any problems. Very easy to put up, on last trip almost did it single handed and did take it down on my own. We sleep 4, 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog. Loads of room.

My old folks only had it for a year but they also had no problems with condensation.

I love SIG'S cause can't stand the creepy crawlies and my daughters are even worse. And it keeps the dog in!

Hope that helps.

Thanks Katyloo,

We have so much in common, we like wynnster tents, acommodate two adults, two children and a dog.

So to recap you are happy with the room,  no leaks, comfortable, easy to put up, and no condensation problems with all 4 of you and the dog (please confirm).

Are Sunncamp tents upto the same standard as wynnster? or are they better or worse quality?

One last question if I may? If you were to buy a weekend tent again, would this be it? or would you go for a slightly larger living area?

I really appreciate your help with my decision.  I can pick one up locally for £150 (I think I have given up on Internet ordering)

Best Regards,

Elegant Mess

Yes to -

We bought the Wynnster last year. We also have an 18 year old son so used it even for weekends for the 5 of us. But he now thinks its uncool to camp with his parents! So the Ventura is ideal for the 4 of us.

I wouldn't say the standard of quality was quite as good as the Wynnster but nevertheless a great tent.

I would definately buy it again and plenty of room in living area (dog is only small though) I find it a lot easier to put up and its flysheet first which is a bonus if its raining!

Kate,

I think you have just made my mind up (my dog is small too, a whippet).  Thanks for help and best wishes.
