It`s almost identical to the Lichfield Commanche (different colour, of course...)

...which is not at all surprising as Lichfield and Vango are both part of the same company.

Nice tent, and it was an excellent deal from Millets at £149 even without the extra weekend offers that Millets ran as well a couple of times.

It is almost the same as the 2006 Vango Oregon 800, with just a bit of differance in the styling, and slightly bigger,

Ahem. Not quite. Different pole structure for a start and the Oregon has the TBS system inside.

I suppose to an expert they must be hugely diifferrent tents. However, to a novice such as myself they are basically the same tent but with a few variants in features,

Agreed, they`re both varients on the standard non-SIG tunnel tent. Most manufacturers do something similar.
