I was wondering if anyone out there would be able to help me. I recently purchased a Sportura Villa 8 berth tent and when I have assembled it, there are a few bits missing.
Missing parts:
Instruction manual for assembling the tent (email copy would be great if anyone already has one).
In the entrance - 2 poles run over the top to provide the heght (both fit into banana shaped bracket within the inner tent). These are both missing.
From the entrance (bracket is banana shaped) there is a pole that then goes from the top (beside above missing pole) to the ground and this is also missing.
If anyone would be able to let me know where I could purchase these items then I would greatly appreciate your help.
Best regards and many thanks in advance.
Helena Merrylees.

If new, go back to the shop (sorry if it's obvious). If second hand, and got in person e.g. freecycle, can you go back to who you got it from?
It's not a make I'm familiar with, so googled it and it appears only to be sold on e-bay. You can get some good bargains on there, but be careful about quality. If you bought off ebay, definitely go back to the seller. Also, if you have it pitched somewhere, give it a good long soaking with a hose to check it is waterproof and there are no leaks. And I mean a long soaking, it may be only showerproof, in effect, and unable to withstand a heavy downpour (not unusual in this country, unfortunately!)
BTW, most tents do not come with instructions (and a lot of those that do are worse than IKEA instruction sheets!)
Speak to the person/shop you bought the tent from and let them know that items are missing and could they give you the missing items or give you a contact number for the manufacturerwho should send you out the items gratis.
I have never heard of that make of tent so cant help with instructions I am afraid
Good luck obtaining the items you need or getting a complete replacement tent.

Did you get anywhere with your instructions and missing parts? I too was recently given a Sportura Villa tent and have been trying to put it up using the pictures on ebay...... I've got a couple of damaged poles so am looking for somewhere to get replacements [without having to buy an other tent :-) ]

The shop where I bought the tent actually replaced the tent for one that had the missing parts. Unfortunately the only company that replied to my question was a company in New Zealand called Outdoor Action and they wanted £50 for the three missing poles.
You are all a great lot out there, this is the best site for help with camping. With all your help I have now got a tent with poles that are all there, and thanks to Raymond I also have instructions for set up. I have been camping many times before and love it, with the villa tent we will just have more room for all the stuff I take. Anyway many thanks once again for all the help, I know what to do if I need anything else and I will help people too if I can.(Very happy lady)

Hello there, I've just bought a second hand Sportura Villa that doesn't have instructions! I found this thread and thought I'd post on the for that someone might still have a copy they would be willing to email?
I'm trawling the internet in the hope of finding a manual
