Hi folks

Just been to Haven at Lakelands with our new Nebraska XXL so thought I would give a review on it.

Arrived Friday evening and the weather was nice and dry for us to put it up. Took my Dad and I about an hour and a quarter to put up (not bad or being the first time). I must admit was so easy to put up with one person inside holding the 2 cross-over red poles and the other pinning on each corner. Also the fact that it was almost pitch black when we finished and using Outwell Vega Lights dotted around the porch entrance.

Saturday night the heavens opening all through the night and very windy. The tent stood up to the wind firmly and only noticed 2 tiny leaks in the morning. Was contemplating asking World of Camping for a replacement but then thought "why?". All the hastle of sending it back and getting a replacement etc etc when I can just apply some sealant and should solve these minor issues.

I absolutely love this tent to bits and won't be changing it. From the outside it doesn't quite look as big as I first thought it would. Just wait until you step inside. It is so spacious and the rooms are well laid out.
We took our footprint groundsheet and outwell carpet too and what a difference these make. Makes the tent so much more cosy and well worth getting - even if you do end up having to pay for them. Luckily Yeomans Outdoors are doing a cracking deal for the Nebraska XXL for £329.99 and you get the carpet and footprint groundsheet thrown in for good measure :).

Taking it down - Took us about an hour and a half to pack the car up with all the camping equipment and take the tent down. Luckily the weather was gorgeous so this allowed us to go over the whole tent and wipe off the condensation with kitchen roll (works a treat by the way).

Looking forward now to taking her away next month for Halloween at Alton Towers as have definately got in the camping spirit.

Happy Camping

Glad you got a good tent. I like the XXL as they are huge. When we had ours, we took out the right bedrom and the kids played there and the left side was for all our gear and such and the center was living space. The only thing I don't like about it is the lack of windows. Yes, I know it's bright enough, but I just like to be able to see outside.  Also, you have a great enclosed porch.

We have sinced moved on to a Vermont L and love everything about it. Outwell does come up with some great models.
