I want to sell our Outwell Indianna 8 tunnell tent but know know what the best way to do it is.
E-Bay is just a pain plus trying to send the poles is going to be costly.
We decided we don't need so much room and love the look of the Coleman Darwin 7.
Does anyone know of anywhere they take old tents in as trade ins??
It may seem a adaft "Q" but i like simplicity.

UKCS for sale section or ebay or local paper or preloved ads.
We've sold 3 tents on ebay with no problem, but offered collection only. (no posting)
Prospective buyers can search for items within a particular mile radius of their home.
Our buyers were all happy to collect & it also meant we could demonstrate how to pitch the tent for them too.

If you do sell via Ebay, could always use this courier service. Have used it many a time and very good value for money.

Thanks for all the advice.
To be honest we want as much as we can get for it. Which is obvious i guess but wife said we can purchase the new one we want as long as i don't have to part with any more money. Realisticly i know i ain't going to get £200 for it.
Seen second hand ones selling easy for £100 so this would be a reaserve price i would set.
Going to a tent showroom near Plymouth today to have another nose. Anyone else know of any tent showrooms/ shops in Devon area please. Recommened ones. Might as well make a day of it
This time of year a good time to buy and next Spring will be good time to sell the other. I'm thinking.

Hi Dont know if you are anywhere near a Decathelon but last year our one in Nottingham had a section cleared where they were selling peoples tents for them..dont really know how it worked, wether you had to buy one there or they took a percentage or what as I didnt take much notice as I wasnt in the market to buy at the time and I try and keep clear in case I get tempted.. I do know that the second hand tents they were selling were all sorts of makes.
