We're looking at buying a new tent for our family of 6 and are quite impressed at the Vango Vail 700. I've noticed a post staing that the double compartments are not big enough for a double airbed. Is this true?

Also are there any alternatives people would recommend that have a covered porch and are not one of those massive hexagaon tents like a Diablo as our regular campsite limits us to 7m x 7m?

  hi i have vango vail 700 and can fit double air bed in no problem.

I have the outwell indiana 6 which fits in two double airbeds and has a canopy.....others are montana 6 with optional canopy, royal bordeaux 6 but for 6 of you the indiana 8 would be a good option

We have the Vail and got a queen size air bed in the middle compartment and a double in one of the side double bedrooms.

Putting the tent up though is another story!!!
