We've currently got a Kerrimor Beta which is a fantastic backpacking tent. However, if we're off for a quick weekend away we prefer a bit more luxery and like to take the double airbed. can anyone recommened a tent that would be big enough to stand in, big enough to accomodate a double airbed and even have a porch so we can at least sit inside when it pees it down?!? I've had a look on Blacks and Millets website but some of them look a bit flimsy...

hi sweetpea, i have the evolution 400 and its a great tent, very east to erect (i can do it on my own) SIG, more than enough room for your double airbed, and a good size full height living area. See pic of it in my gallery.
We've had a HP (Highpoint) tent for over 10years now and she's still in excellent condition, big enough for at least 3 double air beds!! and has a massive porch even suitable for cooking in. We got it from Millets its blue and silver and we're unsure of a name or anything. We also had a Eurohike one which also lasted for ages but unfortunately no good now!! That had a sit in porch. We purchased ours just from local shops!!!
