Hi ,weve seen the vango aspen and like it , but we can get a larger tent much cheaper from argos ,but obviously we cant view it . The aspen looks like it will last longer and is probably much better quality . Do you really get what you pay for ? i dont want to have to change tents again in a few years .
Also ,do you know of anywhere that has tents up to view ,im in Bucks ,but near outer east london

yes you definately get what you pay for, as i have said in another post on here i have a pro action tent that has lasted me 3 years and definately had my moneys worth out of it. we are now upgrading and vango is top of our list at the moment, reading the reviews and listening to people on here i dont think you can go far wrong with a vango. personally my opinion is that a pro action tent is ideal to buy if you are new to camping if you dont like it you have not wasted to much money however if you now you will be using your tent regularly buy the best that you can afford it will make your holiday far more comfortable and last years if looked after
------------- fresh air, lager and no work. who could want more?
We have the Aspen and there is no comparison to the Argos tents, the Aspen is far superior. But you have to bear in mind the aspen is a large tent (tent bag and pole bag)and unless you have a huge boot or trailer then you would struggle to carry it and all your gear.
If the above is not a problem then I would go for the aspen every time.
Cant praise the Vango Aspen enough. Ive got the Aspen 700DLX and yes i do agree that the poles and tent do take up some room when packing but i was that impressed with it that i bought a trailer to carry it and all the extra stuff i take because i can, because of the space in the Aspen. Friends of ours do get theres in there Ford Galaxy so you do need a big car or car & trailer.
