Has anyone tried the 4 person vis a vis style tent Halfords have on sale at the moment for £79.99. In particular if you could describe putting it up...I want something with two separate bedrooms easy to erect with two small children running around.

Thanks.

helped someone put one of these up in a gale last year - her tent had died and someone had dumped the halfords one - it had a slight tear but duct tape soon fixed it and the tent stayed dry for the rest of a miserable wet and windy week.

Putting it up in a gale did take 4 of us to hold it down, but in normal conditions it would be an easy job with one or 2 people.

The pegs supplied with the tent were pretty rubbish and I would be a bit dubious about how long the guylines would last, but they do seem to stay dry - talked to another couple of people using them in very wet weather and they had also stayed dry.

(meant to add - it only took us 20 minutes to get it up - 3 of us in a Force 8 gale and 4 toddlers running around our ankles)

Thanks! Sounds like we could cope with that.
