Try www.jrleisure.co.uk they have really good prices on Khyams. Also try http://www.somersetcamping.co.uk/ They will match the other price and reduce by £10. The lady I spoke was very knowledgable about Khyam's she has a touer 400 herself and thinks they are great. The also do the sun canopy for £19.99 as an extra.

Wow those prices are really good the 4 berth classic excelsior is only a tenner dearer for a second in aspinalls.Have got my eye on a second hand one at the minute just the ordinary classic its not too far from where I live but if I miss it I will be tempted to go for one of these at those prices.
Damn just pipped to the post on a khyam 400 xl classic on ebay missed it by £2!! Could kick myself it was only up the road as well never mind plenty more fish in the sea as they say!!
Had a goood look on the net today I note the khyam tourer 200 is the same price as the khyam xl classic 4 berth on some websites which seems a little strange to me how can a new 2 berth tent be the same price as a new but bigger 4 berth tent??

I'd personally go for the Classic XL with groundsheet, at £199. It has one bedroom inner with divider, so could sleep 3 or 4 when you need to but, when there are just the two of you, you could just tie up the dividing curtain and enjoy one big bedroom inner!
Also, this tent is really quick to pitch. We have the Screenhouse, which is essentially the 'hub' of the Classic XL, and it literally goes up in minutes, even when pitching single-handed. Pegging out and guying is to be done on all tents, and takes a bit longer.
Best of luck, whatever you decide!

Somersetcamping.co.uk have them on their web site and it states that they will match and reduce by £10 if found cheaper else where. So the 200 is £169 and the 400 is £189 on their web site which means that they should come down to below jr leisure price and free delivery. I was tempted by the reduced khyams, but I have now bought a quick erect cabanon barbados second hand.

I think they only price match with a further £10 reduction on specified models, spideygirl.
one think to check is head height, when we looked at the tourer it was a bit low for my oh who is 6ft, he could only stand up in the middle. It depends if this is important to you. My oh also found the classic a bit low near the bedrooms so we have gone for the excelsior this ime round.

In the listing for the tourer 200/400 on the somersetcamping web site it states:-
IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT YOU FIND THIS PRODUCT CHEAPER ELSEWHERE AND THEY HAVE IT IN STOCK THEN WE WILL MATCH THE PRICE PLUS AN EXTRA £10 OFF. PLEASE SUPPLY US WITH THE NAME OF THE COMPANY AND THE PRICE THEY ARE OFFERING IN THE COMMENTS BOX WHEN YOU ORDER.
So I think they should price match for these two tents.
At last finally got the Khyam classic XL 400 in blue with the annexe (2007 model)Just need to buy the groundsheet to go with it.We have watched the dvd a few times it looks easy to erect without the rain lashing down and the wind howling ! Will have a few goes at putting it up in the garden before we use it for real. Now need to buy all the kit to go with it and all hope for a good summer!! Thanks for all the advice/recommendations.
