The muisus and I have been camping for a little while. We used to have a Vango Aurora 600, good strong tent but too small for us with planning to have a family in mind.
We have been looking at the Outwell Utah 6, 2008 new model, looks the monkeys nut's, but we cant find any review's about it anywhere!
Does anyone own one of these models and could share some valuable advise or info for us plz.
Either that, or we are looking at getting an Outwell Sun Valley 6 instead, as they seem to get bloody good reviews on them!
Cheerz,
Marcus + Frayer.

Was at Kendal Camping Centre this weekend, and they had a Utah pitched with kids room looks a lovely light airy tent but no SIG has a detachable bathtub groundsheet, I prefer a SIG so went for the Montana. If SIG isn't a consideration I think I would prefer the Utah to the Sun Valley as I prefer steel to fibreglass poles and the height of the Utah is probably more usable than that of Sun Valley with the curved sides.
Familiar with the utah 6, my opinion is that it is a nice tent and as you walk into it effectivly from the side entrance it does look like it has bay windows. Saying that the market price seems to be in excess of £300 and as Feebee stated no fitted groundsheet. I think the utah 6 will struggle to sell well, as it's predicessor did'nt(indiana 6) because it was to close money wise to the Montana 6 which in fairness with it's fitted groundsheet is the far superior tent
Just one more thing, I would strongly recomend avoiding sun valley's either 2007 models or 2008 which has altered on the basis of poor wind stability ( think jelly mold)
Anyway I think I'm probably a bit to opinionated, but please feel free to ask any questions.
A completly impartial retailer, I do a lot of camping all year round, and have a good interest and knowledge of tents. (I've got a few)
If you have any questions about any tent that you are looking at I am more than happy to try and help, but don't worry I'm not here to advertise my business

Hi Mark, and welcome. Could you please update your profile to show your company name ( suggest put it in your location ) and put the company in your signature too , so there is no confusion.
Many thanks, and look forward to and welcome your contributions,
Cheers
Ian

But a retailer all the same, so you should make this obivious and not try to conceal it
Hi Rick,
I don`t think Mark was trying to conceal anything, he is new to the forum and was just offering friendly, impartial advice and there`s nowt wrong with that. Some of us need all the advice we can get!
