as a family of four - two boys aged 7 and 5 - we have used a vango diablo 600 for years but splashed out on a vango vail 700 last year because we watned greater living space for wet days on holiday (we always have our family holiday in the tent) ..this was a disaster, horrible, cold, leaky, totally bad design ...it ended up blowing away last August and ending up in a crumpled heap..luckily we had vacated..any way we want a quick erect, reasonable living area, light tent can anyone recommend

You can get last years Khyam xxl classic and excelsior cheap at JR leisure, we got a Exclesior earlier this year for £249 as they price matched. I think they are about £250-60 ish. Worth a look when you compare to the equivilant new models.
The classic is not very tall in the bedrooms, the excelsior is very tall all the way through.
