How bist everyone

i went into millets, and saw this tent and decided to snap it up as it was a bargain, cheaper than the tesco value tent that looks crap lol!!!

after i bought it the woman told me she wouldnt reccomend it for a long stay and described it as a 'disposable' tent, seems ideal for me as im going camping with some people on motorbikes in a month or two(i have a 125)

ive put it up in my garden, it seems ideal for what i want and it was drizzling at the time, its waterproof and well ventilated.

the main thing i like with this tent is it has counterparts what are advertised as ultra light for backpacking yet its the lightest tent in the catalogue at 1.6kg, for example the 'stormshield ultralite tent' is £60 and weighs 2.3kgs

what im wondering is has anyone got this tent and if so, has it lasted you waterproofwise etc? it hasnt got the cotton inner tent part but neither did my sierra outbound 2 i had when i was 10 lol

any feedback id apprechiate it

cheers all

sam

Hi Sam,

Bought one for my young son to have in the garden last year.held up ok in light rain but when it got a bit heavier it leaked like a sieve from the seams. As it was a small tent I gave the seams a quick go over with seam sealant and it's been ok in some quite heavy rain since.
