Probably loads but it never bothers me as in my opinion the carbon footprint created by someone going on holiday is insignificint compared to industry and is only an excuse to tax us more
Not sure about the carbon production of an average uk camping holiday but I suspect it would be less than a tenth of the cost of flying to Spain and probably less than half the cost of driving and ferries. Not realy a matter of interest round here though I am afraid. This is (along with the Mail) one of the few places left that believes global warming is a worldwide conspiricy.
A family of four taking a return flight from London to Santander produces on average 1.12 tonnes of carbon emissions; the same family travelling by ferry and car will produce on average .32 tonnes or less than a third of those produced by flying*.

But even if you don't go to Spain thousands of other people will be, so it won't make any difference you staying in this country.
Well, it WILL make a difference...how could it not? But yes, it might be a very small one. But lots of small differences eventually add up to big ones.
Don't like flying anyway. They won't let me take the TT.
