Yesterday I posted a message asking for comments on the Hurricaine Ridgeline tent, got some great advice from replies and decided that the only way to find a tent is to go and look in the flesh. Hurricaine Ridgeline is now out!

This weekend we are off to Hertfordshire to a camping exhibition, and as usual the weather in Britain is sunny then rainy so what a great way to test the tents on show?

I liked the look of the Coleman tents, especially the Sector X5 and the Modulus x7, but to be honest there were quite a few I liked, by other brands, so we will be off to take a look.

Thanks for all the help with advice, taken all this on board and will hopefully find the ideal tent for us!!

Take your camera, and make notes of what features you liked in which tents, so you don't forget, you look at so many you forget what's waht..

Then come and find a better price online.

Thanks, I will do.  The one that I liked, as mentioned earlier was the coleman Mudulus X7 and I found it online for £289.95 and this camping exhibition are selling it for the same price.

What I have done has downloaded pics and prices of ones I do like (and tried to find best deals online) then I will compare with at the exhibition.

Bet I go there and end up liking one I never considered beforehand........always the way!
