Sorry, magic, can't help you with this but at least I can bump you back up to the top of the list. Can I suggest you switch off your caps lock? It's considered to be shouting....
Welcome to the forum by the way and I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help you out.
Hi Magic and welcome to the site. I have a Coleman Cedar Creek and tried it out for the first time a fortnight ago. I shall try my best to go through the steps with you.
1) Insert the two yellow poles into the yellow tagged sleeves which run lengthways along the roof of your tent.
2) Insert the green ones into the green tagged sleeves which run widthways across the roof of your tent.
3) Insert the black pole with the caps on the ends, lengthways across the centre of the roof of the tent.
4) All curved poles are attached by colour co-ordination and if correct you should be able to "raise the roof" so to speak! lol
5) the remaining poles go inside the tent across the middle and fastened in place with the velcro strips.
6) Hook up bedrooms as required.
I hope this helps.....if not you can e-mail me on thephoenixlady at hotmail.co.uk

Our commitments are the reasons why we all need camping!!
Phoenix Lady, did you have any trouble getting the tension right on the tent? i put my cedar creek tent up this morning, but after i put the steel uprights in, there seems to be too much material one side - but not enough the other. this made it really difficult to get centred and put the clips on the uprights without breaking them.
i did only give it a quick trial run, as i bought it yesterday - but even so it looks like it may be a problem.
I have put up many tents over the years, and this is often a comon problem with most of them - but this is probobly the worst case i have seen of it.
If anybody has any ideas on this i would greatly appriciate hearing them.
Having said all of this, it does look a great tent, and it is a really easy tent to put away too.
Hi leema, I didn't find any trouble at all with mine, I hope that you can give it another go and solve the problem and that you don't have a "duff" tent! But if you have, I'm sure you will be able to exchange it.
Good luck.
Magic - Did you manage yours and have a good time away?

Thankfully we managed to get it up this time thanks to the advice from phoenix lady, but I found the same problem with the tension as leema 73. There seemed to much tension on one side so we couldn't put the poles and pegs in down one side correctly. It made the tent look like it was floating.
The other side of the tent looked perfect.
I did not know how to release this tension as there seemed nowhere to slacken the canvas. Can anyone please help?
when pegging the tent do the pegs go into the inner or outer holes on the eyelets?
I also noticed 2 holes in the centre of the tent what are these for, is it electric hook up?
Please help as we were hoping to go off this weekend.
