Does anybody use a canopy that fits the Gelert Alaska 8? I don't think Gelert make one to fit this model but wondered if anyone had adapted another brand to fit.

hi,i'm sure i read that someone has successfully use d the canopy from one brand on a different make tent, I looked up an old thread and it seems lynles has used the outwell canopy on the alaska, theres a photo in her profile too, (assuming that's the gelert tent ) hope this helps.
We have a Gelert Alaska 8 and are looking to purchase the Khyam Sun Porch 2008 to fit onto side of ours. It's fits Khyam Ontario 8 which is roughly same dimensions as Alaska 8.
Hopefully getting it in next 2 weeks so will let you know how we get on
Thanks for that Debbie, I new there was a thread somewhere I had read (had to abandon search as I had to go off to work night shift). That looks just the job. Thanks for the Khyam info too, Wombler, will investigate that too & wait to see how you get on with it. Meantime I must walk the dogs & get to bed, thanks again.
