Has anyone got any opinions on these? I've narrowed down a huge search to just these two, has anyone anything they wish to add to my decision?!
Oh, and does the Orchy 400 allow the bedroom to be used as one complete unit? (i.e. remove the divider)
Cheers x!

Quite different prices!
The orchy 400 is one large bedroom. Also the orchy has windows - i have a thing about being able to see out!
Robens are a good make though, I would say you get what you pay for with tents.
How many will be sharing the tent - the Orchy bedrooms are slightly smaller than the double dreamer

Sorry, I'm actually looking at the Orchy 500 now!
It's for 'us' i.e. a couple.
I agree on the light thing, I could imagine the Robens get's quite murky and horrible if spending any time in there on the inside!

I'm biased!
I've ordered my Orchy 400 and I'm waiting for it to arrive!

Hi
I've just ordered an Orchy 600 in the dreaded 'pink'. All three orchy's look great and this one meets our needs - myself, OH and 2 kids. We have a bigger tent for main hols but really wanted one for weekends -- easy to erect and dry off at the other end - you know what scottish weather can be like. can't wait till it comes.

The Robens has two completely separate two-person inners which has the advantage for a couple that one inner can be used for storage or left out to increase the space in the tent. The disadvantage would be a smaller sleeping area for you. MT------------- Tackling life the Western District way

Very pleased with my Orchy - straightforward to pitch and I like the skylights in 'roof'.

As far as I know all the orchys (orchies?) have bedroom as one unit with the divider that you can put in if needed. The 600 definitely does and am 99% sure that this is the same on the 500 which we were also considering. Bedroom is attached to tent - so you can't detatch if not needed. Hope this is what you wanted to know. Sarah x

Our Orchy 600 - two bedrooms that sleep three is one open space with the divider supplied in the bag to be installed if wanted and I assume all others Ochies will be the same.
The wife ordered a pink one two but I was quite relieved to find that it's a grey with a hint of purple and not so pink as all the photos!
Lovely tent very light and airy inside with nice touches like the rooflights and very easy to put up.
Cheers
Al
