Im going gatecrasher summer sound system music festival towards the end of the month and need a tent, ive found 5, but i know nothing about tents!

I want something easy to setup/pack up and something which is gonna last a few festivals

What do people think of these:

First One

2nd One

3rd one

4th one

5th one

Max Budget £30

Im thinking 4th or 5th one suits me best but interested to hear opinions

Cheers

All though I've never been to a festival, (long story) , but from what I can gather loads of tents get wrecked, so I would probably go for one that it wouldn't matter if I had to ditch it at the end of the festival.

Agree with Moonseeker, I would just go to Tesco or Argos and buy one of their dome tents, usually around £15 for a 2 man version. Something like this: http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-1428744-10294381?url=http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3400054/Trail/searchtext%3ETENT.htm or this: http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-8628.aspx.

They're simple to put up and take down. You should be able to put up one of these by yourself in 10 mins or so. A pop up tent is even quicker and easier to put up. I ended up chucking my tent the last time I went to a festival because I woke up to hear someone using the outside of my tent as a urinal, nice!

You might want to think about finding a middle way: a reasonable quality tent which will keep the rain out and could last you several festivals but it wouldn't break your heart if it got trashed either. Look for a tent which has a HH (waterproofness) rating of at least 1500 and preferably 2000.

Spending your money on a crap tent to put in the bin and which can't even keep you dry if need be seems wasteful and pointless to me which ever way I look at it! MT
