I appreciate these are not the best make, but we had a pro action one for 10 camping journeys and its still fine, but we are always cramped up together
What im after is a tent for me and the wifey only, BUT yes need room - ie 8 man ideally, we like to spread out in the tent of a night time, watch TV etc etc.
Anyone got any info on tent advice, we are off to whitby on 25th may so will need one soon.
Hope you know where we are coming from thanks folks

We have the nevada and although I know they are not the best make (bought before we found this site and when we had argos vouchers as wedding presents!) we have not had a problem with ours (touch wood!) and are hoping for a few more trips before we invest in another big tent... it stood up to some pretty bad rain last summer and it is roomy inside. We can all sit inside in chairs (3 adults, 2 kids) if needs be and you could leave out one of the bedrooms to make even more living space.
I have the Gelert Cadiz 5, and although I have only used it once for camping can stronly recommend the Gelert Tents. When I first got mine, (won it on Ebay) I erected in the garden to check it out. It was great, but didn't get time to take it down. Then came the gale force winds and torrential rain. Despite being badly batter, and at one point blown over, it survived. The poles had come out, and the tent was almost flat. As soon as weather permited I went out to take it down, expecting to ditch it, Poles in tact, and skin unharmed, apart from being soaking wet. Dried it out, and used it later last year.
