Ooh, I just bought one of those, but it's a bit of a project. It has no inner tents , and no side bars with it. I bought it for £19.50 inc delivery off ebay, sold unseen as spares or repairs. I have inners I can adapt from an old 12 berth tent I have.
I have repaired a few small holes in the roof, using tenacious tape. I have to tape over a couple of tiny holes in the pole sleeves too.
I haven't been able to put the tent up yet to see what , if any other faults it has, but so far apart from the bits I've seen, the tent looks as if it has only been put up once, and somehow got damaged. Spotlessly clean, and smells brand new.
Now my question is, how stable was the tent before the side bars were put into place, assuming they were put in after everything else was done?
Would it be stable enough to use without the side bars for fairweather camping , ie summer use only, not if any high winds forecast?
