Sewn in groundsheet means its attached to the tent itself.
all tents have sewn in groundsheets in the bedrooms, but some have seperate groundsheets in the living area.
The vango v5 has a seperate one the living area. It is not really of any importance , just a matter of personal choice. Loose groundsheets are probably better for summer camping, sewn in ones maybe less draughty in colder weather. There is a big thread at the top of the tent section page about the pros and cons.
The v v 500 is currently on offer for £59.99 at go outdoors, be quick though, it won't last long at that price. The offer I mean, not the tent.
