we have just returned from our second trip in the idaho xl, yes in all that dreadful windy weather. When we decamped we carefully checked all poles, pegs, guys seams etc, and tent was perfect.
I'm not sure where the best deals are we got ours in Billericay somewhere £399 plus carpet and canopy. I would definitely recommend the carpet, an extra bit of cosiness was really needed this weekend, as we spent so much time inside the tent.
We have one and some C&CC sites won't take it, and if we went to some sites we'd get charged for 2 pitches. We have had 2 one had a large hole in it and other probems and the other a smaller hole and a broken pole, hope you get a better one x
We have now got our third one as it ticks all the boxes, yet to try it though, if this was isn't ok I'm putting my foot down with OH and we'll have to go back and change it for something completely different!
