seems pretty good for what I want it for (a few festivals and mainly summer camping)
I'd really like to know what the quality is like compared to vango (I've been looking at the alpha 400) Also does anyone have any other pictures of it?
thanks in advance!

It looks the same as as the 06 version we have. Like most four berth tents its fine for two people to use. Easy to put up on your own and we use it for "one nights" when we don't want to tow. My daughter and son in law have used it more on canoeing trips and tested its weather proofing. Actually ours has a 3000 hh which I thought all Wynsters had. I'd check on another web site or wynsters own.
------------- Good friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget.
I bought the shrike 4 for £65 at outdoor megastore. It turned up really quickly so no problems there.
It seems like an OK tent although I haven't camped in it yet. Having said that there are a few things I wasn't so happy with.
First little point - no handle on the bag. I know this isn't a big deal but it kind of got me thinking what else have they skipped. Its the details sometimes!
No curtains in the porch bit.
No inner door at the back to allow of a good air flow. (even if it doesn't have a 'back' my last one had one on the inner tent )
The sleeping arrangements are 4 people sleeping at a 90 degree angle to the door. I bought this for 2 people so I thought that we'd sleep the other way. The problem then is there is lots of room at the foot of the bed and not much either side. I should have thought this through a bit better really! Maybe its just a case of getting used to it. At least I can stretch out properly which I couldn't in my last tent.
Anyway I decided to keep it as the only other tent that seemed to suit what I was after was the vango alpha 400 but this had a very small porch.
In conclusion, if you want a dome tent that feels spacious in this price range and you don't want the porch get the Vango. If you really want a little porch bit (and this one opens with 2 doors allowing different set ups depending on rain / wind direction ) go for the shrike 4. Just don't expect too much from it!
hope that helps someone!
