The only thing we don't like about our Montana 12 is the ridiculously small porch, I see Outwell now do extensions for every one of their tents except the Monty12, does anyone know if any of their other extensions could somehow fit over to give us at least enough space to leave wet coats and wellies.

It's a real pain and we are thinking about changing tents just because of this tiny detail, which is a shame because it is perfect in every other way and a porch would save alot of money and hassle.

I may be wrong, but it looks like the vermont side extension will fit.

Our friends have this for their vermont L and it clips onto the steel poles at the side, and then the cover goes over the top and guys over the other side.

The poles have a +15cm difference between the middle sections of the vermont L and the middle of the monty however only a -5cm difference between the middle sections on the vermont M. It's supposed to fit all vermont modelas so I figure as long as the clips are correctly clipped in and guys are fixed well over tent, it should be a good fit. It would be worth it as it's a great additional space. (See the pic in my profile of snowy vermont......side extension is facing our Indi)

I've just bought the Khyam Sun Porch/Extension for my tent, which they claim will fit most types of tent. I've pasted an ad on here for you to check out! I think it's great!

It has a front wall panel which contains a zip closed 'J' door but, on those really hot days, the entire front panel can be zipped out and removed. This is a fantastic new way of creating more living space for your tent, which can actually be secured at the times you are away from the tent. Will fit most tunnel tents c.200cm high with a side door. The construction is Steel/Fibreglass poles with 185T Polyester flysheet (5000mm HH).
