I've seen on other threads people having the same dilema as me...
I really like the Montana 6, but the mrs likes the look of the price on the sunncamp global 600,
Does anyone have any actual experience of the global 600 as i can't see one erected and need to make my decision by 12 noon tomorrow in order to have it delivered in time for weekend trip.
Any help welcomed
thanks
Ben

In the same boat as you I'm afraid so not going to be much help. I am leaning towards the Sunncamp at the moment though. Shame it's last years model as I would have liked to seen one on show to get a feel for it. The Montanas are everywhere!!! Hope someone can give you advice before tomorrow. There are a few old threads on here but I guess you've already seen them.
Sorry ben, we have one that hasn't been put up yet, probably do it tomorrow, but don't think we can do it in the morning. if I do manage to, I'll post as early as poss.
I have worked out my dates wrong i have until tommorow at noon to plave order for delivery on friday, However i wouldn't want you going out of your way to pitch it just for my benefit. If you did get round to it though your feedback wuld be greatly valued.
Thanks in advance
Ben

I can't see the sunncamp so can't bring myself to buy it, even if it is such a great price.. I don't collect tents so this will be my only tent, long weekends, fortnights, one night stays, the lot.....
You can't get away from the brilliant reviews that come with the monty and, Yes its more expensive but at least i've been able to prod, poke, stroke, smell, zip, lay, stand, dance, etc in it to my hearts content in my local go outdoors.
I'm going there tommorow armed with my printouts from other websites selling it at £299, according to gooutdoors pricematch scheme they will then beat this price by 10%, thus making it a fairly good buy. And at least i can start asking for all the add ons and extras for Fathers day and Birthdays hey!!!!
I shall be checking back here right up untill i leave for gooutdoors at dinner time tommorow, so if anyone has any better ideas for me, please speak up!!!
Hi, as a pure novice I went camping in a cheap tent last month and became completely hooked. We decided an upgrade was needed and looked around both online and in shops. We decided the Montana 6 was for us; well, that was until we stumbled across the Global 600, which is the same layout and size, almost identical, only it has a fitted wardrobe area where the montana has a side door and you get the bonus of a huge extension which is included in the price, and identical to the montana's extension which you have to purchase seperately. I haven't yet been camping in it but we have erected it to make sure it had nothing missing or damaged and it looks great. Would definitely recommend taking a look at one. We viewed one at United British Caravans Sandy Lane, Wideopen, Tyne & Wear NE3 5HA
Hi Karen does the wardrobe bit have a pole for hanging clothes in yours?
My friends have this tent, it is fantastic quality, they're delighted with it. .
they've only used it the once and there was no pole in theirs. Its just an extension, nothing else, except A couple of rings which we couldn't work out the purpose of inside it near the top, on the outer wall inside the wardrobe?
It was handy for putting the loo in and it zips up to close it off from the living area. i just wondered as it was described as being a wardrobe if it should have had a hanging rail?

Hi, sorry haven't been checking back on threads, but no it comes with no poles, we put a fitted wardrobe in ours which was a perfect fit, although can subside a little if not level.
The montana footprint is a great fit, with exception to the wardrobe area, we used ours in late August last year and it lovely and cosy and soft underfoot.
My friends used their tent a few times last year, and have no problems with it at all. They have become hooked on the camping life, well sort of, they bought a caravan at the end of the year and have sold the tent to their friends.
I have a Sunncamp Global 600 for sale if anyone is interested, it has only been used 3 times canapy only once, looking to buy a trailer tent as the wife wants some more luxury, personally I would not part with it (women hey).
If interested let me know.

Sorry - looks to be an old page on the outdoormegstore site, but you could check. Nothing else out there other than the occasional appearance on ebay - you may have to look at the Montana 6 or the Columbia 600 before the latter runs out (also being discontinued).
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
