hi,can anyone help we have just bought the vango diablo 600 and its size is giving us many problems,.....in booking a good camp site as they all keep saying its to big,as any one got the same tent or bigger than 8m-5m,and can recommenda sites or sites in derbyshire, wales or cumbria,or just web sites that cater for tents, where we can have a look.

Hi - we also bought the vango diablo 600 this year to replace our previous tent. We have just returned from a week at The Old Oaks in Glastonbury. We had no problem pitching the tent and would say that the site was absolutely brilliant. The pitches were huge. One thing to bear in mind is that this campsite is an adults only site. We would highly recommend it. I don't think you will be disappointed with the diablo, we are extremely pleased with our purchase.

The Diablo 600 is a brilliant tent you will not be disapointed.
We came back from conwy touring park few weeks ago they are an excellent site in Wales, We stayed in the Red field the pitch was big enough for the tent, utility tent and the car.
We have just booked for August at Plassey leisure park in Wrexham, and they allow tents up to 6 man and an awning/ utility tent.
Stayed at Lane-ends campsite at Hope Valley/Castleton,and also at Greenhills Bakewell-[- large pitches / various fields to choose busy site with bar] Derbyshire. 2008.
& Plas Uchaf in Anglesey 07, returning in Aug 08!.
No problems to date. All the best. Andy.

We were at Fforest Fields first bank holiday in May and the people next to us had a Diablo- certainly not a problem with the size - we had loads of room.
We have a Vango (love it) and have stayed at Beverly Park in Devon and are staying at Newperran in Newquay next month. Christine the owner says the pitches are very big so we should have no problem.
We have a Biarritz 9 ( same as a Diablo 9) and have had the same issues. However we are booked to go to Eskdale C andCC in Cumbria and Spiers house, Yorkshire next month. They were happy when we told them the size. Not so Haltwhistle C and CC who were less than polite!
We stayed at Greenhills Camp Site in Bakewell (google it) and lots of room there for big tents plus electric hook up. Lots of nice views, bar, football field and play equipment.
We've also stayed at Lane Ends in Hope Valley. We told them we had a Diablo 600 and they put us with the caravans (electric hook up). This was a nice campsite too near a stream.
Hi, we've got diablo 600 . Great tent. Knight Stainforth nr settle is v good (check reviews). Every time we've been there's been several diablos on site. Could try a few nights on route to lakes.
