I have been looking for years at TENTASTIC on EBAY, When I first looked their tents were RAGE and STORMPROOF, anyway after reading lots of threads on this forum, I realised it was probably not a good idead to buy one from them.
I haven't been here for a while but have just seen two threads about TENTASTIC, so I looked at their site, and RAGE's and LEBEN's and ther are all run by the same WebMaster,
Is this a coincidence or are they all the same company and most of the LEBEN tents looks suspicially like the STORMPROOF'S??

Its definately a fair weather tent, I dont think it will withstand any heavy weather. As for the leaks that I had with it, I have just received a brand new tent from them when all I asked for was a new flysheet.
I think they come from Germany and Lebans do not have a good reputation whereas Rage do. No idea why but thats what I know from reading on this forum and by googling.
The general view is "you get what you pay for" so a few pounds more when buying a tent can save alot of pounds later when the tent needs replacing due to bad quality, leaking, broken poles etc.
There is alot of choice though so be prepared for a long googling session lol
You will find what you want eventually.. then you will find another tent you love and another and another and so on lol
Camping is addictive but there are worse things we could be addicted too lol
On a brand new tent (well, never opened) they want to charge me fro the pole which is broken. The elastic is broken, not the end of the world but fiddly all the same. Just little annoyed that no discussion, just go to our website and get a new pole, end of.
Customer service definitely deteriorated since last summer
They are a waste of time my brother bought a tent from them last year without talking to me , used it once leaked like a sieve, replaced eventually with another and the poles were broke when he unpacked it.Eventually got a refund.
In the stockport store they have 2 person tents a Tenner..
There is a review of this tent by someone here in the tent reviews, it was the review on this site plus the price the got me to buy one, then a kettle, then a mains hook up and some fabsil, also a discount card. then I legged it before the boots got me, I mean £15 quid for waterproofs!
I am just chaining myself and my wallet to the iron raidator till the full moon and the Sales stop................. I am not a shop-o-holic I am a free man! yes I know I have three tents but on this site this is normal...........It does not mean I have been infected.

Frankly that is under-performing. Between the two of us we have.... EIGHT!!

Rage and Leben are both tentastic owned brands. It's just brand proliferation on their part.
They are all made in the same crappy part of china for about 10 pence. Quality is incredibly poor. Quality control probably non-existant.
If you need a tent which is waterproof, durable, and functions as an actual tent then get something proper. Your shelter is not something you should scrimp on!
