We have been looking around for a tent for a while now but are having trouble making a decision and not sure what we are looking for exists!

We are looking for a tent to house 2 of us for two weeks. We obviously need quite a bit of living space in case of rain etc... and it is a must have that we can stand up in the living area. Ideally would like one large sleeping compartment, and something that is quick and easy to put up as we will be moving around quite a bit. Want something reasonably good quality, although the max amount we want to spend is £150. Have looked at the Outwell Oregon Twin, but the sleeping areas seem quite small with steep sides (this has caused problems with condensation leaking into sleeping area in previous tents) and the Outwell Oregon 5 but this seems to have a massive footprint for what we need, although it has the height.

I've gone on a bit, but does anyone have any suggestions?

There is a tent review section on this forum but it may be a good idea to google the bigger tent stores and see what special offers they have,

There are always bargains to be had if you dont mind last years model (even cheaper on 2006 models !)

Sounds to me like you need a four or five pole tunnel tent though. Look for one that has a 4-man sleeping compartment at one end and an optional 2-man pod at the other, for use as a storage area.
