HI,

Am really tempted to buy a Idaho XL only problem is daughters like their own bedrooms. Is there any way you can divide one of the bedroom pods to form a 2+2 rather than a 4?

Does the kids extension fully replace a pod or just half of it?

Any help much appreciated

Andrew

Hi,  No you can't divide it and the kids bedroom would take up all the space.  However the dressing room could be used as a seperate bedroom but you'd have to walk over the other person.  Fab tent though x

Just purchased an Idaho XL and I am waiting for delivery.

What struck me about this tent is the versatility of its design. To big bedrooms is ideal for my family at the moment, me, the wife and our 10month old in one pod, our 3 and 5 yr old in the other pod. When our 10 month old is older he can go in with our older kids as the pods are big enough for 3 single airbeds. If necessary with the carpet down for cosyness, you can close off both dressing/wardrobe spaces to great another 2 sleeping areas and still retain a large porch and large central living space. This tent looks the biz to me! (£349 at Gooutdoors.co.uk)

Regards,

Gary

I'm still very tempted by the Idaho looks an excellent tent particularly at the Go Outdoors price but unfortunately with my two 12 & 9 year old daughters their own bedroom is high on list of priorities.

Maybe tent manufacturers are missing a trick I'd gladly pay extra to change one of the four person pods into a 2+2 or even 1+2 as appreciate having two doors probably means losing some space inside the bedroom.

Probably means the Nebraska XL instead but like you the new fresh design of the Idaho looks good to me.

Cheers for your help anyway

Andy
