Hi

We have just come back fromt he highlands of scotland and had to buy a Wynnster Merlin 4 before we popped across to Orkney as our other tent fell apart in the wind in John O Grotes, this was a last miniute buy from a fishing shop just before the boat sailed, anyway, when we were in orkney one of the poles cracked (just my luck) but i don't think it was wind this time,

anyway does anyone know where i can get spare poles for this tent from? I can't get to the shop as it's too far and it would cost more in fuel or postage than the tent is worth.

I sent an email to wynnster but they haven't responded.

any idea's?

cheers

Tom

Any camping shop will have spare fibreglass pole sections. they are about £2-3 each. You don't need to replace the whole lot , just the broken section. You just need the right diameter and you can cut the pole to the correct size with a junior hacksaw. You untie the elastic shock cord d rethread the new section on.

Google tent spares and you'll find plenty of places you can order from if you don't have a camping shop nearby.

Edit to say, maybe the poles from the broken tent will fit, if you have kept them.
