Hello guys, I'm after a little advice/suggestions please.
Basically I work a number of festivals around the UK and have thus far been making do with a fairly old, small 2 man backpacker tent (coffin shaped, so by time the airbed's in there, there's not much room for my kit). There's nothing wrong with it, I just want something that's a little more spacious.
As I sometimes do nights, I wouldn't mind something with 2 doors/decent sized porch so I can get a breeze flowing through and some decent daytime kip without getting sunburn(10 nights at Glasto on 3hrs sleep ain't good, it was too damn hot n stuffy in the tent to sleep!). Another reason for wanting a porch is to store stuff, as well as being somewhere to start dekitting when I return in dripping waterproofs (as is invariably the case with the British summer!).
Having looked at reviews etc. I've narrowed it down to the Vango Beta 250 or Gelert Tornado 3, although swaying towards the Vango due to the larger porch. Has anybody got any experience of either, or which one would you recommend?
Thank you.

I have just puchased the outdoor revolution starcamper 3....its fantastic ..ideal for festivals ....large porch with sewn in ground sheet ..2 doors ..windows...great tent..

Thanks for that. A little bit over budget tho. Plus it's quite a bit heavier than the others. Although I tend to get dropped off pretty much where I'm camping, I do sometimes still have a walk so I don't want anything too heavy as my kit can be heavy enough as it is!
I know, but the advantage of it still being carryable is that when I do next go to a festival as a punter, it can still come with me should I so wish. Really it's just the larger porch area I want, the one I've got would've been fine if it had a decent sized one... Plus it's only for one, and although I have a fair amount of kit, I'd probably just get lost in a 4 man (and more space in which to make a mess/lose things as I'm not the neatest of people)
