Hi, we bought one as a weekend tent, used it once so far without any problems (conditions heavy o/nite rain and gusting breeze) Construction/ detailing is not as good as in our Diablo but seems fairly robust. Others have reported leak problems with windows and doors.
Thanks am looking at a Gelert horizon now. I will spend a bit more and hopefully be better protected from the elements. After todays rain maybe i should book a static this summer and give the tent a miss lol.

I bought this tent, put it up in the garden, took it down and took it back! Nothing fitted correctly and it basically seemed very dreary. The old saying buy cheap buy twice certainly came into play.
Definitely worth spending the extra and getting a known make!
I know Aldi and Lidl do come up with some fantastic deals on some camping kit and I buy quite a bit from them... but nothing to sleep under in a downpour at two in the morning!
Wanted weekend away, 2 adults and grandson 2yrs old
didn't want to take hartford. So bought tent from ALDI. Brilliant little tent, it rained and blew like mad. tent was totally waterproof and and stable. You got to love it

We bought a 6 person family tent in Aldi 3 years ago. It's make is Adventure ridge.
It easily sleeps 2 adults and 3 kids. ( 2 double airbeds and travel cot )
It's a great tent which survived 2 weeks wild camping in the west coast of Ireland last year, including 2 days of terrential rain and gale force winds !
We have used it atleast 10 or more times.
Just used it again last weekend and it's as good as new.
The Aldi tent is now down to £59.99 - its a no brainer price wise. The only thing is I noticed at least half the boxes in our store had been sellotaped back up - so maybe had been returned?? Wouldn't have been because of leaking though or Aldi's wouldn't be selling them again.
If enough people post positive reviews on 'good value' tents like this one it will build people's confidence to buy them and hopefully encourage the 'known makes' to be more competitive... get posting Aldi fans!
