I am trying to find replacement tent poles for a Vango Oregon 600 tent. It is the end section and the next section which I am looking for but I am not sure of the sizes. The sections measure 61 cm in length but I dont know where to take the width measurement from, is it the metal bit diameter or the fibre bit? I would be grateful for some advice.

You need the diameter of the fibreglass bit, and you can cut ant fibreglass pole to fit with a junior hacksaw and a bit of masking tape over the cutting line helps stop it splintering. they don't have to be vango poles, as long as they are correct diameter . You can get them from any camping shop, about £2 - £3 each section. or online if you don't have a campinshop nearby. just google tent spares.
