Just taken delivery from PJ Camping of what should be a Bear lake 6 Kids room but on the box and inner it clearly says bear lake 4. Does anyone know if the are the same? As far as I can tell they would be approximately the same size as they are both the same width and height and pretty much a standard two man inner. The only difference that I can see would be the profile of the curved part of the tunnel. Is anyone able to confirm this. I have contacted PJCamping (intertent.co.uk) and so far no reply. I must say though they have given good service so far apart from this error.

My guess would be that as with the side extension, Outwell have made an "add-on" that fits both tents...
Could you let me know how you get on with the bedroom? We've considered it for our 'ickle one, but decided against it...
Do the bedrooms still have the zip connecting them together - one of the reasons we choose the bear lake was the interlinking bedrooms, as she likes to come and join us in bed first thing in the morning, and it's a great way for us to check she is OK during the night...

Yes i thought I'd seen it listed as Bear lake 4/6 somewhere and this is what made me wonder. Haven't had time to get onto PJ Camping today but maybe they have replied by e-mail when I get home.
I have feeling the two inners don't interlink once the Kids room is up, but I will check. I also liked the interlinked rooms idea but I also know that our two will love the kids room so it is a compromise.. It seems like you role up the unused 2 man bedroom which remains connected at the inner ground sheet, and then erect the kids room inner, so they are two separate inners. I need to check this out but I haven't really looked at the one thats been delivered as I don't yet know if they've sent the right one. You'd think that if it is that it fits both it would say so or say Bear Lake 4/6 but it doesn't, it just says Bear lake 4.
I have Bear lake 6 Kids room. It fits, the box and bag were clearly labelled bear lake 6. I would check it, I did see one recently on ebay a lady had bought a BL4 kids room for BL6 it didn't fit and she was selling it. I think if Outwell were making one kids room to fit both tents it would say Bear lake 4/6 on the box. Sorry
I thought I'd add my 2 penny's worth, even though this topic was started a year ago. We've just had the same problem, We bought a kids tent for the bear lake 6, and it came in a bear lake 4 box, and it clearly didn't fit properly - there were missing toggles, and it didn't look right - basically not up to the standard you'd expect from Outwell.
Lots of camping product internet sites are unclear, some listing it as bear lake 4/6, some listing them separately. After much "discussion" with our vendor, who had to contact Outwell for clarification, it appears that Outwell used to make separate bedrooms for bear lake 4 and bear lake 6, however last year (2008) decided to create a "universal fit" bear lake 4/6 model! The old ones aren't interchangeable, and indeed our vendor has just ordered an old style bear lake 6 bedroom as apparently the bear lake 4s that he's got were supposed to be the 4/6 universal fit ones!
I hope this helps others who are trying to work it all out.
I've responded on this to another thread somewhere. But just to clarify this for anyone else. I did eventually get the "appropriate sized" kids room in a box marked a Bear lake 6 but then found that this fitted really poorly - it was possible to clip it in in all the right places but it seemed just a bit too tight so that even the fitted groundsheet didn't quite rest on the outer groundsheet unless the children were actually in the room. There seems to have been a number of errors occurred here including misprinted boxes as well just to confuse people even further.
