Hi all, I'm a newbie here and am returning to camping with my family after a few years off.  Before the introduction of little ones I regularly camped with a very much smaller tent but now want something bigger with room inside when the British weather turns for the worse.  There are no tent reviews posted for this tent but I'm hoping there is an owner out there who can help me.  I was also looking at the Outwell Montana, which looks to be a sturdier quality tent but the weight puts me off a little.  Many thanks in advance

I prefer Vango to Outwell so I'm biased but the Montana 6 has more living space and a side pod for storage/cooking all for £50 more. The Yukons' bedrooms will be a lot bigger though, especially if the two adults have one side to themselves and the kids the other side.

Also I found Vango's look better "in the flesh" and don't suffer with a poor leak history.

Thanks Nissbird,  I've just done some measurements and am really disappointed to find that the vango can't fit in two blow up campbed in the 2 pods and that we would HAVE to use both pods.  I was hoping not to have to use both ends to give more living space.  Are there any other slightly wider vango models?  Thanks again Becca

Sorry for replying to the post a bit late but...

The Vango Albany 800 is that little bit wider than the Yukon, just lacks the ceiling windows and a few storage bits.

I know beacause I've just bought a Yukon and although happy, I saw an Albany today and a few extra inches seem to make a difference.*

We will be taking the Yukon for its first "proper" outing on Monday and will add a review next week.

*insert own joke here
