we've got an amazon 600, used it once and liked it but we are on the 3rd one now. There was a problem with the inner fly-sheet being stitched to the outer door on the first one we got. supplier swapped it with no problem + said that it was unusual for vango's to have faults. Never tested 2nd tent + travelled 450 miles to discover we had left the tent pegs in the tent we had returned and that we had the same problem with the door + fly sheet being stitched together(this one was worse than the 1st). This problem never spoiled our hols though, Tent was pretty easy to put up even in torrential rain, kept really dry the whole 10 days even though weather was dreadful! it was our 16 month old wee boy's first camping holiday + he loved it. When we got back the supplier gave us another new tent which we checked out before leaving and it's fine and we can't wait to use it again. If you do go for this model I wouldn't recommend the carpet as it's dreadful - it's really hard to brush and catches really easily
we have just got back from our first trip in our new amazon 600, we love it. we got 4 kids,13,12,9 & 3 and had plenty of room. it was straightforward to put up - took a bit longer than 45mins but no falling out with hubby over it! haven't bothered with a carpet, we just put a few picnic rugs down in living area - easy to shake out and clean. we're new to camping our 1st tent was bought 5yrs ago & we only got round to going away this yr in it but it was rubbish, the living space was all wrong but it did teach us what we would need in the next tent. i spent hours online to find a tent that fit the bill & went to yeomans show a few times before deciding on the amazon 600. we did consider the 800 having 4 kids but thought we might have problems getting pitches big enough. after spending a few days in the 600 we're happy with the size & don't think we'd need more room. we're booked for 2 weeks in france next may & can't wait.

Ordered our new Vango Amazon today from the tent factory, £294.99 and £22 for a foot print for protection, didnt opt for the carpet as some say its better to put down scatter rugs. Read many reviews around the net and feel its the best for us 4 kids too. Double air beds fit in each little room nicley and plenty of living room. The tent factory guarantee next day delivery for free too. Wife decided to go for the Sage and Black colour. Hope you like yours as we are eargerly awaiting ours. Think the kids will be in the garden sleeping all weekend.

No one likes a smart arse but it was delivered at 1.15 by my info.
Thanks for the order and i hope you have a great time.
Re pitching, the instruction/dvd are pretty good but i pitch the tent this way.
1 - Peg the 4 corners, open the doors and go inside to get some air inside the tent.
2 - slide the roof bar through the pole sleeve nearest the front, connect the 2 legs and lift, make sure nothing is caught etc, place the pins in the bottom of the pole, adjust straps. Guy this section forward.
3 - Repeat working backwards, close doors, peg out.
4 - Fix the front porch on via the zip, place roof bar in and fix legs, guy forward.
5 - Fix small glass fibre poles over side doors.
6 - Hang inners in place.
There you go, others may have a better way but this normally works pretty well.
just wish it had the roof windows as in the advertising picture,,,,,,now they would be good..........now wheres my scissors n thread n seam sealer............
