Hi All,
Im new to family camping, looking at getting outwell tent and thinking about a bear lake 4 or 6? or maybe the new wolf lake 5.
We are a family of only 3 at the mo, but want to be able to grow into it! also take mum sometimes!!
Should i be looking at any other makes? also pros and cons for the outwell tents.
Have booked site for end August and no camping gear yet!
Many thanks
Mark.

why not buy a frame tent, there are alot of bargains to be had on ebay and cabanon are the rollsroyce of tents, will be cheaper than buying an outwell plycotton

I loved the look of the outwell ones and had looked at the bear lake and wolf lake ones. In the end though we went for a large sunncamp frame tent (Grange) and a canopy which we got new. It is a bit retro!.. patterned curtains etc but as they are 'squarer' you get good head room throughout and lots of usable space..and you get the ventilated kitchen area inside. I was a bit too much of a worrier to buy off ebay if I couldn't get to see the tent first but there are some good buys on there at the moment including a couple of cabanon biscayas (these have a integral groundsheet in the living area which frame tents don't have) which might be worth a look. Sarah
