I saw a Coleman Darwin 5 on Amazon a few months ago for under £130 but now it's gone and the only ones I can find are for over £160!
Can anyone find a cheaper one?

Is the Vango Orchy 600 a decent alternative for 2 adults and 2 children?

I wanted a tent with bedrooms next to each other and not at either end but I don't really want to spend anymore than £150! Any ideas?

Wild Day were selling them on ebay for £140. Might be worth a phonecall to see if they've any left.

Thank you SuperJules. I called them but they've sold out (sob!). have my heart set on one.

Would you recommend it?

My hubby really want a Coleman and it's the only one I can find that has the bedroom to living area ratio that I like!

That's bad luck.

I love our darwin! (Sorry, probably not what you want to hear if you're having difficulty finding one!) The benefits for us were the side by side bedrooms (our kids are 4 & 6 and I wouldn't feel comfortable in a vis-a-vis arrangement), I can put it up singlehanded, it's really nice and light inside, very stable, the zig is just the best thing since sliced bread, the storage area at the back..........I could go on and on!

Even at £160 it's cheap, we bought ours at the beginning of last season and it was closer to £250.

Hi, we were in Camperlands today and they had an ex-display Darwin 5 on sale at £145. It was still erected to view. As its ex display, you would probably be taking a bit of a chance but from what I could see, it looked fine. No obvious problems anyway. Its not advertised on the internet site so you would have to give them a ring or an email to make sure its still there and that there are no problems with it. I've always found Camperlands good to deal with though I've never ordered off the website. I've always bought instore. Their contact details are http://www.camperlands.co.uk/store/erol.html#1X0
