we have the sun porch with an ontario 8 it is well worth the money. The sunporch covers the door and half of the window on the side you choose to erect it. There is a slight gap between the sunporch and the tent fabric so some rain can enter this area, we use as a kitchen area so this is not a problem. The top of the sun porch has a flap that is thrown over the top of the tent and is secured with guys the other side of the tent, please ensure that this sits correctly over the poles of the tent.The only ting to be aware of is the porch has no SIG or mudflaps so there is a gap between the end of the fabric and theground. I will try to put some photos on our profile for you to see. Overall at excellent addition to a great tent.
Agree with Nicdak. We bought the sun porch for our Kansas 8 and use it for cooking and storing shoes etc. Easy to put up once you get the part that you throw across the tent in the right position. Covers half the window but doesn't seem to be a problem. If it's windy the part across the tent does make a noise though.
We have just bought the Khyam Ontario 8 ( Blue / Grey) thanks to all the excellent reviews. We are now trying to purchase the Khyam sun porch to match the tent colours but have seen the Castle rock / Paloma, which looks like a sagey green and grey. We are sure there is a Grey/ blue to match the tent colour.
Please help as we are being told by some dealers that the Castle Rock / Paloma is Grey and this is the only colour available ?
We have also been told that the Gelert Horizan Porch will fit has anyone got any info or photos to help us purchase the correct one !!!
