Just got back from camping up north with my children and my dad! great time and i have really caught the camping bug!!! We stayed in a outwell montana 6 and was a fantastic tent! I would really like to get my own tent as i have two young children and want to be going on holidays just with them and my partner. Please can any one advise a really good tent that is family friendly?! As i say the Montana was a really great tent its just i would like to own something a little different to my dad.
Thanks all x

the montana 6 seems to be the style of tent that has caught on and is becoming much copied,if you live near to a go outdoors they are selling the monty six at under £200.00 at the moment which is a real bargain
How about ex display tents?? what are your views? just because i've been offered an monty 6 ex display at £150..
I personaly would not buy and ex display tent, if it has been pitched outside for the season then definatly not
just think of the thosands of peple that have been through that tent pulling at the seams to see how well they are sealed tugging at the guy lines to see how well they are fixed and tramping around on the sewn in groundsheets
I would say dont buy it

The Sunncamp Global 600 looks a very nice tent, although I would like to see one up and also read some reports before I brought one. I have recently seen one for £280 on the Awnings Direct web site.
If you get one please provide a review. There are also a couple of other threads on this forum which talk about this tent.
