Hi we have recently purchased an Idaho XL and have been having problems with attaching and removing the side poles to the curved roof poles, they constantly stick - someone suggested that we spray the poles with mr sheen but this has not worked - does anyone have any other suggestions?

We had a few problems at first but after the 3rd time putting it up, poles were not a problem. You have to make sure that you line them up before inserting so they're at the right angle.  Our problem was getting the tent down. The shock cord went on 3 of our poles and now they're in bits.  Going away again on Monday so hope by piecing them together, they'll be ok.

Hi,

Ours are quite stiff, but with a wiggle they normally come free. I am quite glad other people do have problems too because I thought I was just a weakling!!

You could try Silicon Spray, it is basically like WD40 but it does not rust
