Newy to all of this and we had our first trip last weekend.  It rained constantly the tent did not leak but around the zips did drip a bit.  I have been told after the firat use to but a sealant and rub it around the zips and the seams.

What is it? where do I get it and how much should it cost?

fabsil is a good make of waterproofer, it comes in different forms (spray on, brush on) and varies in sizes so obviously varies in price on quantity. if your tent is leaking on the zip i doubt it would be much good as this stuff will only reproof the material of your tent. try googling "fabsil", hope this helps
