hi de hi campers. well it would be if our tent hadn't had an attack of the mildews ! Having only used the tent once last August in cornwall, we returned home and re-erected the tent to clean and dry it out. We then stored it in our house for 12 months.
We unpacked the tent today to reseal a seam and we found black mildew behind all the taped seams.
The mildew has affected some of the adhesive on the tape and the shop we bought it from has told us that this will affect the seal. We feel this could be a manufacturing problem. Has anybody encountered and solved this problem ?
Please help us unhappy campers (reluctant to spend another £350 !!!)
------------- have a nice flight
